Sunday 24 September at the Col de la Croix de Presles (FR-69-0527)
You are invited to a friendly gathering at this col in the Monts d’Or mountain range north of Lyon within its metropolitan territory.
Road bikers will be proposed with an itinerary of about 40 km (25 miles) from Limonest (or a starting point of your choosing) to climb the 3 cols of Lyon urban area, that is the col where you will meet at midday, plus the col de Trion (FR-69-0266) and the col de Verdun (FR-69-0602b).
This gathering will be the occasion to discover Lyon area in a new way. If the weather is fine and the sky cloudless, you’ll be able to enjoy the sightings of the city and even the Alps, without forgetting the landmarks of the ancient Capital of Gaul such as Fourvière district and Basilica, the cathedral of Saint Jean, the banks of the Saône river, Bocuse restaurant, etc…
We’ll be waiting for you at the Col de la Croix de Presles (FR-69-0527) from 11am to share wine and cheese in the pure traditional way established by the Cent Col Confrérie.
