The Club des Cent Cols, founded in 1972 and affiliated to the French Federation of Cyclotouring, has prepared this “Randonnée Permanente” based on a simple theme: “One Hundred Cols”. The completion of these one hundred cols will allow you either to join the Club, or to progress with your list in the Club’s “Tableau d’Honneur”.

“Col baggers” are drawn to this special kind of game. These cols are even more special, since they divide the waters into two very distant final destinations: they are located on a “watershed”. We offer you a ride comprising 100 cols on the dividing line of the Atlantic / Mediterranean waters, from Cluny to the Port of Pailhères. One hundred cols to discover the diversity of massifs and regions crossed by the watershed, one hundred cols on this route following this remarkable geographical limit as closely as possible.

Seven checks are compulsory; they will be made at route points chosen by the randonnéur himself, a check being made in each section (the section numbers are to be found on the route map).

  1. Cluny – St Etienne
  2. St Etienne – Mont Gerbier de Jonc
  3. Mont Gerbier de Joncs – Mont Lozère
