Theme

The Club des Cent Cols, founded in 1972 and affiliated to the French Federation of Cyclotouring, has prepared this “Randonnée Permanente” based on a simple theme: “One Hundred Cols”. The completion of these one hundred cols will allow you either to join the Club, or to progress with your list in the Club’s “Tableau d’Honneur”.

A hundred cols that will allow you to take a breathtaking mountain-bike randonnée and explore Languedoc seen from its mountains between the Monts de l’Espinouse, Caroux, and Lacaune in the southwest, to the Cévennes crests on the Mont Aigoual side to the northeast. The discovery of a unique heritage: sometimes difficult cols but also exceptional natural sites such as the “Cirque de Navacelles”. The discovery, finally of a region with a rich past whose traces go back to prehistoric times like these mysterious ‘statues-menhirs’.
