MenuProjects and dates of future stays
The aim of this section is to keep the members informed of the projects of future stays, whatever their advancement, and their dates when they are decided. The STAY COMMITTEE in charge of this section will MAKE the necessary udates.
Any ideas and suggestions for future projects will always be welcome by the members of the board of administration and the Tourism and Stay Committee.
A stay means:
- an accommodation in a double bedroom offering full BOARD
- an area with climbs and passes
- and a team willing to test, ahead of the project, the mountain bike trails, to plot the road-bike routes as well as to elaborate the various documents (GPX tracks, roadbook).
Autumn Stay from the 3rd to 5th November, 2023
It will take place in Autun in the Morvan regional natural park. This project was suggested by Nicole and Jean Claude Durand. It should have taken place in autumn 2020. The participants will be accommodated in an “Ethic Etapes” (Espace St Ex) offering a simple comfort. The commercial contracts are signed, the routes ready (tested by Thierry Labour and Christophe Badonnel in August 2021 in a rainy weather). The presentation and booking form will be available in the Cent Cols magazine to come and on the website at the same date.
Spring Stay from the 20th to 27th April, 2024
It will take place in Porticcio in South Corsica near Ajaccio (as in 2010). All the participants will be accommodated at the Marina Viva, club hotel and residence. The contract will be signed before the summer. This stay is proposed by Nadine and Bernard Giraudeau (as the 4 previous Corsica stays). They have begun testing the various routes. The presentation and booking form will be published on the website and in the October 2023 newsletter (ICC).
Summer Stay from the 29th June to the 6th July, 2024
It will take place in Voguë, Ardèche. We will be accommodated in Lou Capitelle Space (the same place as the 2014 General Assembly). The contract will be signed before the summer. A small team has begun to work on the project, i.e Corinne and Roland Dameron, and Bernard Pommel. The presentation and booking form will be published on the website and the 2024 February newsletter (ICC).
2024 Autumn Stay
It should have taken place from the 4th to 6th of October at Bugeat in Corrèze. We will be accommodated in the sports center “Alain Mimoun” Espace 1000 Sources. The commercial negotiations are under way. The stay will be prepared by Armelle and Michel Pfeiffer.
2025 Spring Stay
It may take place in Massa in Toscane, Italy. Enrico Albertini will lead this project, helped by a small team.
2025 Summer Stay
It should take place in La Drôme Provençale at Remuzat (as the 2012 spring stay). It will be prepared by a small team (Brigitte and Jean Marie Gilouin, and Alain Benoist).
2025 Autumn Stay
It could take place in Aarau, Switzerland, in the area of Argovie, at the foot of Jura mountain range. The dates could cover 3 days as we can find many climbs and passes in the area. We count on Swiss members to help us prepare this stay.
