Annecy, Imperial Palace, 5 November 2022

The President, Enrico ALBERINI, opened the General Assembly at 14 h.

He thanked for their presence
Martine CANO, President of the FFCT,
Catherine BOURGEAIS-ROUET, President of COREG Aura (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) and of CODEP74, and Antoine ARMAND, member for the Annecy district.

After his Morale Report (see the ICC of October 2022), he gave the floor to Hervé RETIERE, the club Secretary, for the Club’s Activities Report.  A report which will serve as the basis for a more complete presentation that could be used notably outside the Club. It can be read here :

Sébastien VADOT, the Treasurer, then presented the Financial Report followed by the provisional accounts.

Account auditors Alain LAXENAIRE and Michel MATHIEU then took the floor to present their report.

The President then spoke, announcing the voting results and underlining the significant increase in the number of voters in 2022 : 899 voters. This compares with 466 voters in 2021, being an increase of 93 %.

Statutory business being over, The President handed over to Graham CUTTING who announced the completion of a titanic piece of work  : the creation of catalogues of cols for the whole world.

Then, Didier RÉMOND presented the future séjour in summer 2023 at Praz-sur-Arly (presentation to be published on the Club’s site).

The President then introduced Christophe MARCHAL, the 8000th member of the club, to the General Assembly.

He then presented to DTs Pierre MAI, Didier RÉMOND, Gérard FILLION-ROBIN and Alain GILLODES diplomas for their long service.

Jean PERDOUX, the Club’s Founder and Honorary President, then took the floor.

The last three presidents each then took up the history of the 50 years of the Club.

During the pause, Claude MABILLOT displayed photos of the Regional Rendezvous Auvergne at the Col de la Croix des Gardes on 17 September 2022.

Michel ROUGERT (vice-president of Cosfic 2024, organiser of the Semaine Fédérale 2024 of the FFCT)

Catherine BOURGEAIS-ROUET, President of COREG Aura (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) and of CODEP74

Martine CANO, President of the FFCT gave her wrapping up of the fiftieth anniversary of the Club.

And, Enrico ALBERINI finally concluded this extraordinary General Assembly by inviting everyone to a wine reception.
