). En redescendant j'ai croisé juste à la barrière une camionnette qui ne m'a rien dit mais je ne sais pas ce qui se serait passé si elle m'avait rattrapée à la montée. Il devait être autour de 7 heures à ce moment-là. Bien sûr il faisait nuit quand j'étais au sommet, mais au moins le BIG était dans la musette.Voilà, s'il y en a qui ont d'autres expériences avec cette montée, ça peut aider ceux qui voudraient y aller.

As everyone knows, the Puy de Dôme is forbidden to cyclists. Nevertheless, I would like to share my recent experience. Thinking that I might have a chance of getting through if I came well before the opening, I made sure I was at the barrier very early, in fact I was there at 6.10am, the train opening at 9am. I passed without any problem and I was able to pin this difficult BIG (by the access and by the slope
). On the way down I passed a van just at the barrier which didn't react to my presence but I don't know what would have happened if it had caught me on the way up. It must have been around 7 o'clock at that time. Of course it was dark when I was up there, but at least the BIG was in the bag.So if anyone has any other experiences with this climb, it might help those who would like to go.
